In our continued effort to repair Myakka Pines Golf Club, we've given the clubhouse a significant upgrade by installing a new HVAC system, replacing the outdated system that was no longer functioning as it should. The result is a brand-new unit that will provide comfort for patrons and staff for years to come.
As we significantly overhaul Myakka Pines Golf Club, amid repairs in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, our expert team employed a crane to extract the long-troubled HVAC system, which had been malfunctioning for years. The replacement, a massive 12.5-ton HVAC unit, signals a vital enhancement, particularly noteworthy as it took place on the clubhouse roof where we are still installing metal roofing as well as renovating the interior dining room, restaurant, and common areas.
The decision to upgrade the HVAC system addresses longstanding issues, ensuring a more efficient and reliable climate control system for the clubhouse. The use of a crane was paramount as the air conditioning unit was too heavy for our team to install safely.
The timing of this upgrade adds another layer of significance. By incorporating the new HVAC unit during the ongoing restoration efforts, the club is not only addressing immediate needs but also securing the clubhouse against future challenges.
This installation marks a substantial leap forward from the outdated system, promising improved functionality, energy efficiency, and an overall more comfortable environment for patrons and staff at Myakka Pines Golf Club. This along with the rest of the improvements is getting us one step closer to restoring this amazing community back to 100%.
